… to Rotary Gardens (Janesville-WI) and Anderson Garden (Rockford-IL); is still in the planning stages, but if there is enough interest we will visit these two sites. The Japanese garden portion of Rotary Garden is very nice (better than Chicago in my opinion) and Anderson Garden was one of the premier private Japanese gardens in the country when it was first created.

If you are interested, please indicate your intentions via the “CONTACT US” form on the Badger Bonsai website prior to Jul-26th and meet at the Dutch Mill Park and Ride (SE corner of Stoughton Road and the Beltline) and start the car-avan (caravan of cars) right at 8:30am on Sunday Jul-28th, and return about supper time. Rotary Gardens admission is $7 adult, $6 senior, or free with an Olbrich membership (remember to bring your card). Anderson admission is $10 adult, $9 senior, no discount for Olbrich membership.
