This is a normal meeting from 6:30pm to 7:45pm
March is upon us and with it the first hints of spring, and then winter, and then spring again, oh no wait it’s actually summer, just kidding, still in winter… Yeah, March is a lot of fun and, as I’m writing this we’re about to hit the 70s, but in a few days the weather forecast has possible snow.
Take it as a hint that the repotting season is getting closer, and it’s time to get ready, especially if you have one of those tree species that has a very narrow repotting window.
To stay on theme, Ron will give a presentation on the various types of pots and how to match them with the right tree, plus he will have some repotting instructions printed out that will certainly be useful to new and old members alike. And to be even more on theme, we will have a Potapalooza. One of our members has kindly donated a large amount of pots collected over the years and they will be sold at a bargain price. It is a great opportunity to get a new container for your trees, so bring some form of payment and splurge!
Finally for the show-and-tell, we encourage everyone that attended the pottery class in Stoughton in January to bring their creations.
Agenda of the meeting:
– Repotting by Ron
– Potapalooza
– show and tell
– door prizes for members
